Ready to hang with wire. Sides painted a solid colour.
Another Amazing Day in Alberta Series. A whimsical stylized drive down a country road with the storm clouds pushing out the white clouds. The clouds were formed by the shapes of random torn paper reminiscent of paper airplanes in the sky. The eye is directed down the dirt road to the sky where the swirls of blue wind pull the eye up to the storm clouds. The swirl shape found in this series of work is subtly in the white clouds as metallic white on cream. There is movement in the sky but also in the grasses along the country road as the viewer is transported into the painting. This painting was an acrylic interpretation of the Watercolour sketch Heading into the Storm. The sides are painted a solid purple and this large painting is ready to hang.
